When I first started my Etsy shop back in 2012, I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to make. I knew I loved crocheting and unique things with lots of texture, but I didn’t know where to start.
I saw a design with crocheted fabric and I was obsessed! The raw edges of the fabric gave such a beautiful added dimension of texture and I knew I needed to crochet something with it immediately! 😉
I started making bracelets and headbands out of my own fabric yarn. After trying LOTS of different types of fabric, I fell in love with batik! The colors were so vibrant and the prints were so beautiful before and after transforming them into yarn!
I decided to do a whole series on fabric yarn so that you could make creations from this fun and unique fiber as well! 🙂 Stay tuned for lots of exciting all-about-fabric-yarn things coming your way! Sign up for my newsletter [here] so that you don’t miss a single one!
