Whenever I make a tutorial video, I always like to play around with different variations and colors. It’s fun to see what kinds of unique things you can achieve with the same crochet stitch. I hope it inspires you to play around and get creative with your own projects as well! 🙂 To achieve the look of the swatch shown, I started by chaining 13. Beginning in the 4th chain (CH) from the hook, I made a treble crochet (TR) in each CH across. CH 3, and turn your work. I alternated rows of TR and FPTR as well as colors for the remainder of the swatch.
I am obsessed with color and texture and this swatch has loads of both! 🙂 It may have even sparked an idea for a future design…I’ll keep y’all posted! That is what I love so much about playing around with stitch variations – it can spark a new design right away! Let’s get started!
